Why XENIA
A hotel director runs the property on information that arrives late and scattered: Booking.com, Google, TripAdvisor, the PMS, a spreadsheet. International chains pay analysts to put it together. Independent hotels and regional groups don't have them. XENIA gives them the same precision every morning, without adding one more dashboard to their day.
The name comes from xenia, the ancient Greek law of hospitality: the host's duty of care toward the traveller. It is the promise of the product — read our manifesto.
Who builds it
XENIA is founded and led by Hermès Coutureau, in Paris. Passionate about technology and travel, he studied abroad, in Madrid — and it is above all his travels, and the people he met along the way, that drew him to hospitality.
XENIA started with listening. People around him kept describing a tool they wished they had; he decided to build it. It is built alongside hoteliers: since spring 2026, a hotel director in Northern Portugal has been our design partner, and every feature of Echo and Horizon was shaped on a real property before reaching the next one.
